The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project management as it relates to building science work, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below.What a day at EXP has in store for youPreparing proposalsAssist senior staff with providing technical guidance to junior staff and clientsReport writing and review of reports from junior staff membersPerforming building condition assessments, performance audit, Bulletin 19 reviews and reports, asset and property review/assessment, reserve fund studies, design, and coordinating various building repair(s)Preparing specifications and drawings for rehabilitation and design projectsLiaising with clients, building strong client relationships, and generating new businessMentoring junior staffWhat your experience looks likeMinimum of five years technical experience with proven ability in project management and business developmentUniversity degree in a related field of study such as Civil Engineering, Master’s degree would be considered an assetP.Eng. designation in Ontario is an assetExperienced in conducting reserve fund studies and directing staff to perform RFSExperienced in building condition assessments and design, and able to lead junior staff to perform BCAExperienced in coordinating building repair, such as roof and window replacements, balcony, cladding and parking garage repairValid drivers license and access to vehicle is required for site visitsAbility to deal tactfully and effectively with clients and co-workersAbility to work effectively in a high demand and fast paced environmentProactive approach with a focus on leadershipExcellent team builder with the ability to motivate peopleLeadership skills are an asset
