Billyard Insurance Group – Mississauga East is hiring an Insurance Broker to join the Mississauga East branch by providing tremendous value and trust to our respectable clients. For three consecutive years, we have supported and housed five of our brokers in achieving an All-Star award.We are seeking individuals who are value-oriented, have an entrepreneurial heart and specialize in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines to best serve our clients with their insurance needs. Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities of an Insurance Broker: Actively pursue warm leads and referrals by following up and implementing sales tactics to ensure the close of deals Correctly assess risk and advise clients of insurance coverages altered clients' needs including policy features such as discounts and coverage requirements Consistently achieve monthly sales quota and comply with business quality targets Quote to Bind Process A-Z Pull necessary documents such as Auto+ & MVR reports Implement underwriting guidelines administered by various markets Attend required personal development and training courses Build a network of COI’s and update marketing/sales tactics Skills and Qualifications: RIBO licensed Required Experience in Insurance Sales: 2+ YearsKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications, Applied Rating Services, Powerbroker and Market Portals Understanding of Personal Lines and Commercial is considered an asset Ability to multi-task and work with minimal guidance Comfortable with cold calling and building relationships with a COI What We Offer: Competitive Compensation Package: 45K+ with additional commissions or commission-based only.
