The Opportunity We’re looking for a talented Insurance & Benefits Associate to join our growing team in our newly renovated office in the beautiful seaside resort town of Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. Our team enjoys a modern, hybrid working office and flexible approach to work-life balance. In this important role, you will work closely with our experienced team to deliver personalized solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will span across various parts of our business including: life and living insurance solutions, group insurance, client relationship management, insurance processing, and operational support. Through your dedication and expertise, you will contribute to our mission of igniting financial confidence . What you will be doing 1. Client Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and proactive communication. Conduct thorough client reviews to understand their insurance needs. Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing their needs promptly and effectively. Maintain our client relationship management (CRM) platform and client service matrix with accuracy and efficiency. 2. Group Insurance Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive group insurance (employee benefits) proposals tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Collaborate with our team and partners to identify opportunities for optimizing clients' group insurance solutions to achieve their long-term objectives. Conduct research and analysis on life and living insurance solutions. Conduct annual group insurance renewal reviews in either a lead or supporting role as required. 3. Life & Living Insurance Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive life & living insurance proposals tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Ex: life, disability, critical illness and health insurance solutions. Collaborate with our team and partners to identify opportunities for optimizing clients' insurance solutions to achieve their long-term objectives. Conduct research and analysis on life and living insurance solutions. 4. Operational Support Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. Coordinate with internal & external teams to execute client transactions, including account openings, insurance illustrations, quotes and applications. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Participating in community networking opportunities that support growth initiatives. What we are looking for A friendly, community-minded, goal driven team player who is a GSD – ‘get stuff done’ type. You have keen attention to detail and accuracy and are highly organized - you have a proven high level of organizational and time management skills. A listener first, clients & colleagues value your judgement and problem-solving approach. A passionate, disciplined relationship manager who cares deeply about helping others – you love to build relationships a nd solve problems. Demonstrated ability to pro-actively anticipate and identify client needs and offer solutions. Proven ability to self-manage and deliver results in areas of responsibility . Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate findings. Strong communication skills in English and digital literacy including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and team members. A life-long learner. You are willing to take both personal interest and industry related courses & training to build expertise and grow both personally and professionally. Post-secondary degree or certificate in business administration, or a related field is preferred, the LLQP, life licensing is also considered a plus. (note: the LLQP course completion and licensing will be required within the first six months of employment) . At least one year of financial services experience in financial services is preferred. Small business experience is considered a plus.
