Role Designation: Hybrid


We are actively looking to hire Instructional Designer to join our team! Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Development, the Instructional Designer is accountable for supporting the achievement of ACG’s short and long term Mission, Vision and strategic objectives by: planning, designing, development and delivering targeted and engaging learning solutions using adult learning methodologies and instructional design methods.


Accountabilities:


  • Consult with stakeholders at various levels across the organization to provide end-to-end learning needs analysis, project management, design, development and implementation
  • Recommend and determine the appropriate method of delivery including in-class, e-Learning, job aids, etc. to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Source relevant content to ensure an all-encompassing learning experience is attained
  • Bring innovative and creative approaches to micro-learning, eLearning, blended and in-class projects, as well as job aids and video content
  • Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions to support the transfer of knowledge to the business partners
  • Keep track of project plans and ensure all expectations are being met from all parties involved
  • Keep team updated on status of projects to facilitate coordination of department resources, capacity, lessons learned and best practices
  • Design assessment and evaluation tools that focus on delivering effective and engaging learning experiences and developmental opportunities
  • Responsible to lead leadership development and change enablement learning curriculums


Qualifications:


  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience of proven experience using systems like: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Graphic Design principles and/or other authoring tools.
  • 3+ years’ experience in applying Adult Learning Principles, ADDIE, SAM, agile project management and other instructional principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage learning projects from intake to close
  • Experience with HR behavioural, competency and leadership soft skill content design and development
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to design and develop leadership development and change enablement curriculums desired
