Inside Sales Representative
Minimum 5 years of sales experience and knowledge of electrical equipment and/or test equipment is a priority.
This is an ‘in-office’ position, located in Markham.
There is minimal travel; one to two trade shows per year, local travel is limited, out of city travel is rare.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The duties and responsibilities of an Inside Sales Representative include, but are not limited to:
- Managing order for current clients – quoting, follow up
- Prospecting global location of current customers
- Prospecting for new clients
- Responding to customer inquiries quickly and efficiently
- Answering phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Building rapport with customers
- Collecting customer information for future follow-ups
- Upselling services and making product recommendations
- Closing sales and achieving company quotas
- Identifying sales opportunities
- Staying informed about product and service information updates
- Staying informed about the customer and their operations, buying cycles, opportunities
Requirements:

- People oriented and experienced in rapport building
- Ability to sell and promote
- Working knowledge of various technology and software programs
- Strong product knowledge
