Our client, a manufacturer recognized as a major player in the hardware/construction industry, in business for over 60 years, is looking for an inside sales representative with good interpersonal skills, but also excellent business sense and technical knowledge in this field of activity.
Job Summary :
Under the supervision of the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will be customer service oriented, enjoy being in action and work with various construction related products.
Main Responsibilities :
Respond to various customer inquiries and requests for information regarding pricing, delivery dates, adjustments, orders, etc.
Perform price and product research.
Offer alternative products as needed.
Perform price quotes and follow up with customers.
Follow up on orders (after entry), inventory and product shipments to customers.
Work with various stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure all customer needs are met.
Ensure good communication and quality of service is maintained by following policies and following up on opportunities for improvement.
Skills and qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years experience in an order desk and inside sales
Knowledge of the construction or industrial environment
Mechanical mindset
Strong interpersonal skills
Bilingualism required 7/10
Comfortable with Microsoft office and in-house software
Be a true team player and be aware of the impact of each department on the customers
Salary from $40,000 to $52,000 depending on experience
