Job Summary and Essential Functions
Our client is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills to join their sales team. You aim to please potential clients and exceed sales quotas on a monthly basis. You have a preference for an aggressive, entrepreneurial company where change happens on a daily basis. Job Responsibilities:
Effectively prospect, identify, qualify, own and manage sales pipeline
Follow up on all leads generated from marketing campaigns to create pipeline and pass over to Account Executive or channel partner where appropriate
Consistently strive to meet or exceed established goals
Maintain VAR/SI relationships to drive success in territory
Develop proficiency on all products, programs and systems
Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the sales team.
Use CRM system for all information regarding sales stages and prospects.
Skills and Qualifications:
Have 1-2 years of related work experience, strong emphasis on outbound prospecting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant discipline an asset.
Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be creative
Be comfortable communicating over the phone and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Be comfortable in computer applications and technologically savvy
Be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and the desire to excel in a competitive environment
Be flexible/adaptable and able to think on your feet
