A Project Lead for the 429 Commercial helicopter will plan, organize, and manage technical projects from conception to completion to support a specific Commercial Product Platform’s goals and objectives. Specific duties include:
• Create and maintain project plans, determine required deliverables and milestones, assign resources and estimate tasks
• Manage and control testing, risks and contingency plans, budget, deliverables, and project changes
• Capture and maintain process and product requirements defined by Subject Matter Experts
• Collaborate with external suppliers, partners, and internal departments (multiple engineering disciplines, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, IT).
• Coordinate design reviews for manufacturing builds, tooling, engineering changes and configuration management tasks
• Create project schedules from scratch and develop resource skill profiles
• Manage schedules on multiple projects concurrently
• Develop capital requirements, equipment needed, and facility plans to support programs
• Ability to operate Catia for designs and interrogating models
• Develop new project management and system analysis tools and capture best practices / lessons learned

Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or other related Engineering discipline is strongly preferred
• 5 years of Engineering experience, 10 years preferred – previous project engineering/management/ team leadership experience is a plus
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

• Proficient user of MS Project, Primavera and Excel
• Able to travel 5-10% of time internationally
• Demonstrated success of driving resolution of complex technical problems as a team leader.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Teamwork attitude

· Comfortable working with multiple teams and influencing without authority.

· Experience presenting to leaders across organization and to design review boards as needed

Preferred - Internal

Preferred:

• 6 years of Engineering experience

• Multiple business unit experience is strongly preferred

• Knowledge of Primavera Project Management
