IT Category Manager Mississauga, Guelph, Burlington ( Our Client is looking for an IT Category Manager in their Enterprise Procurement team. The IT Category Manager will be responsible for the identification of sourcing opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the end to end Procurement lifecycle, working with Tier 1 IT Vendors and managing relationships. You will be responsible for cost reduction, whilst maintaining or improving the level of quality and service provided. The role will include developing category sourcing strategies and plans, the management of tendering processes, negotiating contract terms and conditions. As the ideal candidate you must have 5 to 8 years of IT Procurement experience, with a focus on software.
