IT Category Manager Mississauga, Guelph, Burlington ( Hybrid and can work from any location above ) Our Client is looking for an IT Category Manager in their Enterprise Procurement team. The IT Category Manager will be responsible for the identification of sourcing opportunities. You will be responsible for managing the end to end Procurement lifecycle, working with Tier 1 IT Vendors and managing relationships. You will be responsible for cost reduction, whilst maintaining or improving the level of quality and service provided. The role will include developing category sourcing strategies and plans, the management of tendering processes, negotiating contract terms and conditions. As the ideal candidate you must have 5 to 8 years of IT Procurement experience, with a focus on software. You must have experience working with Tier-1 or Tier-2 vendors. Experience in leading negotiations and the ability to influence stakeholders is a key requirement for this role.
