Position Summary: Position will support the Global Portfolio Services group responsible for the process of collecting asset, investment, and fund data, analyzing results, preparing financial reviews for Senior Management and quarterly investor reports for the Limited Partners of each of the respective Lone Star Funds. This role requires a unique blend of strong finance knowledge and advanced IT skills, particularly proficiency in Python. As a key member of the team, the candidate will actively contribute to the automation of processes, integration of Third-Party APIs, and the development of financial applications relating to modeling and analysis.Hudson Advisors (hudson-advisors.com)Essential Functions: Collect, analyze, and validate global portfolio data including asset data, debt data, cash flow projections, fair market value, and net book values for all investments in the respective Lone Star FundsManage and oversee quarterly investor reports directly responsible for data collection, insuring data integrity.Leverage finance expertise to manage quarterly investor reports and oversee investment summaries.Develop and implement customized applications using Python to automate data collection, analysis, and validation processes.Integrate third-party APIs to enhance data retrieval and reporting capabilities.Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.Create and maintain financial applications that contribute to investment and fund performance metrics.Generate and maintain all investments and fund performance metrics.Analyze foreign projections and support the Treasury's hedging needs.Prepare and review quarterly sensitivity analyses and reports for the risk, currency, and compliance committees.Conduct Ad hoc scenario analysis requested by various parties.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Advanced proficiency in Python for application development, scripting, and automation.Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.Experience working with third-party APIs and integrating them into financial applications.Familiarity with databases and SQL for data manipulation.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office Suite)Ability to be self-taught.Power BI Advanced Excel knowledge, including the ability to summarize data via formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, etc.Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.High attention to detail and accountability in analytical assessmentsExcellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with all levels of management.
