Thisis a great opportunity for a motivated, energetic individual who wants tochallenge their abilities in a dynamic work environment.The Indigenous Relations Coordinator will provide support for theIndigenous Relations Advisor on Indigenous relations activities on behalfof our clients. Activities include, working with Indigenous communities,supporting negotiations, developing agreements, researching land tenure,and understanding potential impacts to First Nations. In addition toassisting Indigenous Relations activities, the Indigenous RelationsCoordinator will assist on other projects as and when required.Key Responsibilities Working on Indigenous Consultation:Engages in consultation & communication to keep Indigenouscommunities informed about proposed activities and to gather their input oninterests and concerns.Contributes to negotiations with Indigenous communities by conductingthorough research, taking meticulous notes, and following up.Develops strong relationships with Indigenous communities to facilitatethe exchange of information and to create opportunities.Maintains consultation documentation, including letters, records ofconsultation, and reports, ensuring they meet a high standard.Coordinates consultation meetings with Indigenous communities andproject teams, ensuring adherence to established processes, timelycompletion, and effective reporting of outcomes.Key Responsibilities Working with Project Teams:Develop, track, maintain and update project cost reports, develop andupdate project schedules, procurement and maintain document managementsystems through all phases of the project.Review invoices, change orders, and management of payments to allcontractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.Coordinate project team activities and interact effectively withClients, Contractors, Engineers, Project Managers, and otherconsultants.Coordinate and participate in technical proposal writing and otherbusiness development activities.Prepare and distribute of high quality, accurate and timely documentssuch as: agendas, status reports, minutes, communication logs, changemanagement, and other required documentationPerform contract administration, coordination, and development asrequired.Qualifications & Competency:A Bachelor’s degreeor higher in indigenous studies, geography, archaeology, anthropology,political science, business administration or related field.At least 1-2 years of relevant experience working with Indigenouscommunities.PMP/CAPM is considered an asset along with previous experience workingin a similar role.Ability to build relationships with Indigenous communities, throughrespectful communication, willingness to understand diverse perspectivesand a commitment to developing common ground while working throughpotential conflicts.Emotional intelligence to work with a broad range of different types ofpeople, including, Indigenous groups, technical experts, governmentofficials, legal counsels, public stakeholders, and other projectpartners.Strong abilities to assist with coordination of multidisciplinary teamson complex projects on time sensitive and projects of varying sizes with ademonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritiesconcurrently.Possess excellent organizational skills, time-management skills,thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting andefficient use of time and resources.At Integris, we believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive workenvironment where every team member is empowered to reach their fullpotential.
