Organization Name: Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation Organizational Description: Through partnerships with a number of government agencies and community groups and organizations, the BNRC delivers meaningful programs that strengthen housing choices, improve recreational and leisure amenities, build economic opportunities, strengthen community potential, and create safe, attractive and inviting neighbourhoods Volunteer Opportunity Details Volunteer Opportunity ID: 5319 Description of Duties: Provide advisory services relevant to the delivery of Infrastructure Canadas Reaching Home Indigenous Homelessness funding provided in rural Manitoba.Assess and recommend projects for funding to the Community Entity.Information/application package with full description will be sent to those who are interestedWill remain open until all positions are filled Skills Required: Should be passionate about homelessness issues in MB and shold have the best interest of rural MB communities at heart. Members must work collaboratively and respectfully within Advisor Boards as a whole. Candidates must be able to demonstrate positive working relationships with the homesessness and housing communities or rural MB. Skills Gained/Related Careers: Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment: Daytime , Remote Volunteering , Flexible Hours We meet over Zoom 2-4 times a year.
