We have an opportunity for a highly self-motivated individual with strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills to join our team of HVAC Field Service Technicians out of our Montreal Office.

Engineered Air is recognized as a leader in providing extended employee training. You will commence your position as an HVAC Field Service Technician with a training program in Newmarket, Ontario, duration to be determined depending on experience and ability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Provide technical support on indoor/outdoor HVAC equipment in the field.

·Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts.

·Demonstrate a professional attitude while keeping the company’s interests in mind at all times.

·The successful candidate will work independently.

·There is a requirement to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines.

·Occasional work outside regular business hours is required.

·Travel in and out of province is required.

EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION:

·Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Diploma; HVAC or HRAC Technology; or Building Systems Engineering Diploma.

·Tag 1 or G. 1 Certification would be considered an asset.

·Knowledge of RBQ (Regis du Batiment du Quebec) CSA B149. 1-15, is an asset.

·One or two years of related design, production, or service experience will be advantageous but not necessary.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·Valid Driver’s License and a clean abstract are required.

·Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·Must be fluent in French and English.

·Proven ability to problem solve in challenging situations.

·Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team locally and remotely.

·The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
