Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The HR Manager oversees the HR leadership responsibilities on site including supporting the leadership team in creating and driving the strategic direction, leading and managing HR programs and projects as appropriate. As an integral part of the site leadership team, this role will identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain talent while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans.


As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department onsite and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent within the organization.



Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Engage in proactive positive employee relations strategies and initiatives; drive activities to promote engagement with employees at all levels
  • Support plant operations through planning headcount, staffing levels, and recruitment.
  • Works closely with site leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Owner of HR metrics, responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing data; ensure accurate people data via regular auditing of relevant HRIS systems.
  • Provide leadership guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading/coaching others through change
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Strengthen employee retention and engagement through establishing and coordinating the standard onboarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions
  • Implement talent management programs to identify and develop high-potential employees
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Administer performance management programs to drive employee engagement and productivity
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary planning, bonus programs, and employee recognition initiatives
  • Supervise HR staff and provide coaching and mentoring as needed



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR supporting a manufacturing operation. New facility start-up experience would be preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a HR Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruiting practices, talent management, performance management, and employee relations
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP, Workday, Oracle, Paycom or UKG.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing HR issues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
