Growing through acquisition and organic growth, E360S provides environmental and waste management solutions to municipalities and commercial customers.Position Description The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing all human resource initiatives in Western Canada. Responsibilities include developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs related to employee relations, training and development, performance management, and talent management, as well as ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to employment.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategyBridge management and employee relations by addressing concerns, managing conflict, and conducting investigationsOversee the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviewsLead employee training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs and facilitating training sessionsManage employee performance evaluations and support career development planningAdminister employee benefits and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulationsMaintain employee records and HRIS systemStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HRCollaborates with managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues, investigations, prepares corrective actions, facilitates involuntary terminationsMonitors employee relations throughout assigned area for development or in analyzing actual trends, issues and problems, and assists local management with addressing issuesAnalyze data to include turnover/retention reporting headcount summaries, exit interview data, internal/external market data and provide recommendationsProvides assistance on leave administration and coordinationAssist in managing the labor relations and contract administration responsibilities including facilitating a partnership with the union bargaining committee, sitting at the table for labor contract negotiations, and administering 2nd and 3rd step grievancesPerforms other related duties as required or requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related experienceMinimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources managementWillingness to travel to different locations (50%)Previous experience in a leadership role, managing a team, and collaborating with cross-functional departmentsExperience in labor relations, including contract negotiations and grievance resolutionDemonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectivesIn-depth understanding of human resources principles, practices, and regulationsStrong knowledge of employment laws and regulationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to handle employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolutionFamiliarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goalsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze HR data and provide recommendationsAbility to lead and oversee recruitment processes, employee training, and development initiativesThis job description indicates the general nature and level of work, duties and responsibilities expected of the incumbent.
