Job Description

Our client in the Health Care sector is looking for a Director Human Resources on permanent basis.

If you are looking for a job and are CHRL Holder with five years of Senior Human Resources Generalist Experience, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

What we offer:

  • Location: Mississauga
  • The Candidates applying need to have a vulnerable security clearance and a must pass a criminal background check.
  • Salary : $ $ 105,000 -$110,000 /yr. depending on experience.
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday including weekends if necessary.

What you do:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and in collaboration with the Leadership Team, the Director People, Talent, and Culture is accountable for providing strategic leadership and direction to all facets of human resources management ensuring that all HR programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in support of the mission, values, and business strategy of the organization.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 5 years related human resources generalist experience at the leadership level.
  • CHRP designation required; CHRL preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment related legislation is required.
  • Previous experience managing in a unionized environment is required.
  • Project Management experience an asset.
  • Demonstrated passion for people and proving exceptional service.
  • Creative, resourceful, energetic, and positive approach.
  • Detail driven individual that can deliver results under highest expectations on time and quality.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate.
  • Flexibility to think outside the box and adjust course when appropriate.
  • Effective communication skills with a variety of audiences in English (verbal and written); fluency in French is an asset.
  • Excellent skills using MS Office and other software applications (ADP; AlayaCare).
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and on-call as required.
  • Ability to travel to multiple work site locations.
