Full Time, Permanent Vancouver, BC (In-Office 4 days per week, 1 day from home) Our client, a premier retailer in North America, is growing again and is looking for an HR Manager to join their team. Ability to be flexible and pivot through multiple tasks, as required; ● Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information and situations with tact, Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer software systems; The duties of the Human Resources Manager include, without limitation: ● Manage the functional areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to, retention, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, workers compensation, safety, training; ● Develop and execute full cycle recruitment strategy while supervising the recruitment Create, update and manage policies and procedures; ● Manage benefits and insurance administration, communicate with our external stakeholders; ● Develop new training programs and manage implementation; ● Administer and oversee the annual performance review process for both Store Locations and Head Office, keeping the Trakstar platform up to date; ● contribute information, analysis and recommendations to the organization’s strategic direction; ● Collaborate closely with executive leaders and management to advise, counsel, and provide coaching and resolution to address employees’ performance; ● Provide performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, Work closely with management and employees to provide consultation and guidance to Manage the HR Team and provide guidance and training to team members; ● Identify matters of legal importance and consult with legal specialists where required; ● terminations, attendance records, discipline records, employee performance appraisal Stay up to date on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management and employment law; ● Promote ethical and cultural awareness to the workforce through training, development and Manage the development, implementation, and compliance of Human Resource policies Prepare reports in conformance with legislated and legal requirements or company needs; ● Communicate changes in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures and ensures Minimum 5 years experience in Human Resources Management; ● Bachelor’s Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent experience in Human Resources Management; ● CHRP or other HR designation preferred; ● Prior experience with full-cycle payroll processing - PCP designation would be considered an asset, ● Prior experience with Canada and US Employment law would be considered an asset; Retirement Contribution Matching Program ● Ongoing Professional Development and Training ● $90,000 - $110,000 annually and a performance bonus of 10%
