Job Description

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Experience:

1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience

Tasks:

  1. Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  2. Evaluate daily operations
  3. Plan and organize daily operations
  4. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  5. Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs and collective agreements
  6. Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  7. Respond to employee questions and complaints
  8. Hire, train and supervise staff
  9. Recruit and hire staff
  10. Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  11. Support for persons with disabilities
  12. Provides physical accessibility accommodations (for example: ramps, elevators, etc.)
  13. Support for newcomers and refugees
  14. Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  15. Support for youths
  16. Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  17. Support for Veterans
  18. Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans
  19. Support for Indigenous people
  20. Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  21. Support for mature workers
  22. Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers
