POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Havre des Cantons residence is currently looking for a Human Resources and Payroll Technician, with good experience, professional, committed and who has the interests and well-being of elderly people at heart for a permanent full-time position Monday to Friday. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Administration Design training calendars Follow up on dossiers, monitor schedules, issue reminders and obtain requested information in a timely manner in keeping with established time limits If required, collaborate on the various residence committees Participate in the management committees to improve procedures Produce required reports Research, collect and compile information for reports and transmit to all vested parties Support the general manager in his duties Work in Microsoft Excel to update data Management Ensure effective communication to your teams and to the residence in general Optimize human resources in support of operational and financial efficiency objectives Human Resources Act as a resource person for temporary staff placement agencies and managers Apply and respect the established procedure If necessary, sort CVs and conduct initial telephone interviews when management decides to hire service assistants Supervise work schedules and organize staff replacements as need Supervise, hire and evaluate personnel to ensure sufficient numbers of qualified and competent personnel Take responsibility for staffing in your area; onboard, train and integrate new personnel EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ease in the use of computer tools Experience in human resources management, an asset Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset BENEFITS: Annual Performance Bonus Referral Program Free parking Yearly salary to be discussed.
