If this sounds like you, Dot Foods Canada wants you on our team!As an HR Manager, you’ll be responsible for human resource management at the Ingersoll, Ontario distribution center while providing support to the Calgary, Alberta DC. You’ll manage the communication, compliance, and recruitment efforts while continuously supporting our managers and new employees.WHAT YOU’LL DOProvides support and consultation to managers & employees in all functional areas of responsibility for both federally and provincially regulated employee groups..Involved in employee relations including new employee orientation, disciplinary interactions, employee appreciation and event planning, retirement plan, and exit strategies.Manages the location HR programs, such as recruiting and community outreach, payroll, safety, Workers’ Compensation, return to work, and personnel transactions.Communicates with location managers and employees regarding personnel issues, policies and procedures, and training and development opportunities.Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste.YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dot Foods’ experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Access.Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment.Ability to quickly and accurately incorporate changes.YOU MAY ALSO HAVE Professional in Human Resources (CHRP/CHRL) certification.Ability to motivate and work well with others.Knowledge of Human Resources best practices and regulatory requirements federal and provincial.ROLE SPECIFICS Supervision – Assigned administrative/support staff.Travel - Occasional overnight travel for training, seminars, and company events.
