Based on our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Generalist (Bilingual) for Empowerists. We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team, who will report to the Director of People and Culture. While this position is 100% remote, we are looking to expand our team in Canada As a member of Empowerists the HR Generalist is a key player in handling the day-to-day HR queries such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, global mobility, etc. The goal is to ensure the People & Cultures operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organizationPrimary responsibilities:Conduct employee onboarding process for new hires and facilitating orientation sessions.Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation.Resolve any HR-related issue that may arise.Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.Assist in the resolution of employee issues and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.Assist in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies.Undertake tasks around performance management.Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics such as employee turnover rates.Maintain employee files and records in the HRIS SystemEnhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities.Ensure compliance with labour regulations.Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.Maintain payroll processes, prepare employees compensation data.Administrate payroll-related policies and procedures.Support internal and external audits as needed.Assist in talent acquisition or recruitment processes.Qualifications:Bachelor of Arts or Science in Human Resources, Business administration or any other relevant fieldProven experience as an HR Generalist or in a related roleOutstanding knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPointRequirements and Skills:3-4 years of experience in HR Generalist roleMust be fluent in English and French, written and spoken.Understanding of general Human Resources policies and proceduresGood knowledge of employment and/or labor lawsExcellent communication and people skillsAptitude in problem-solvingDesire to work as a team with a result driven approach.Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.
