About the job

  • You will gain valuable HR experience with Swarovski. In this role, you will be able to work collaboratively with the local and global HR team, and broader business, in providing HR advice and solutions for all people related matters.
  • You will be the first point of contact for local HR
  • You will play the role of the trusted advisor. You will build and maintain strong business partnerships by providing direction and advice to the business on people topics that support the company direction, culture and growth.
  • You will be accountable in ensuring that legal and personnel requirements are met, HR policies and guidelines are implemented, and that general conditions and processes are met and followed.
  • You will act as an integral part of the local and global HR team by assisting in the provision of holistic HR services: from recruitment, remuneration, employee and industrial relations, health and safety, well-being, and analytics
  • You will manage disciplinary topics, performance management and workers compensation cases
  • You will partner with broader global HR teams as required on projects and ad-hoc initiatives.
  • You will design and deliver HR/health and safety related in-house training and workshops as appropriate

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • Self-starter and ability to work autonomously
  • Tertiary qualification in HR is required
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role as this is not an entry level role
  • Previous HR experience within retail, hospitality or similar industry, would be preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Strong use and knowledge of HRIS
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft office (excel, one drive, outlook etc)
  • Ability to interact with colleagues across all levels of the business
  • Experience managing employment relations issues and workers compensation cases
  • Understanding of Fair Work, HR policies, compliance and related protocols within the Australian context.
  • Understanding of General Retail Industry Award will be beneficial
  • Multi-tasker, able to adjust to different needs and stakeholders with great attention to detail
