Job Description

Position Summary – As a housekeeper you are responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness and the quality of the Inn’s guestrooms and public spaces are met.

Knowledge and Skills Required

1-2 year Housekeeping in a boutique/hotel setting. WHMIS and Health & Safety Training an asset, however we will supply Physical Requirements;

Able to lift 20 lbs repeatedly throughout the day Bend, stand, reach for extended periods of time, extensively throughout the day Push cart weighing 50 lbs several times throughout the day Behaviours Required

Attention to detail and thorough Enjoys seeing a finished product Hard Working; enjoys being physically busy and active Positive attitude and team player Good organization and communication skills Provides friendly and personable service Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, weekends and holidays Schedule: 8 am to 4:30 including weekends.

Required education:

High school or equivalent Required experience: Boutique or High End Hotel Housekeeper: 1-2 years

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20-25 per week
