We are currently seeking a Hospitality Supervisorto join our Restaurant management team at Trius Winery! This role focuses on creating memorable guest experiences and achieving daily sales targets for wine and Wine Club sales within the restaurant and tasting pavilion. This role motivates and mentor’s property Servers to achieve/exceed all assigned business targets and is regularly called upon to execute opening and closing of the restaurant and tasting pavilion. There will be a requirement to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to support tastings/dining experiences/functions/events when necessary. We are looking for a teammate with: A positive attitude & strong ‘on-stage’ demeanor. Demonstrated excellence in hospitality with great attention to detail. Restaurant experience, including operation of a point of sale system and reservation system. An interest in food and wine pairing & the wine industry. Supervisory experience an asset. Wine knowledge an asset. Smart Serve certified. Service experience an asset.We are currently recruiting for a Front of HouseHospitality Supervisorto work at Trius Winery! We are looking for teammates who are passionate about creating world class customer experiences for our guests. In this role you are a member of the restaurant/hospitality team and will be responsible for keeping operations running smoothly, addressing customer service concerns and clearly communicating with the management team. You will assist Front of House restaurant management team with: Opening and closing duties/responsibilities, leading pre-shift meetings, ensuring menus are prepared and current, supervising/delegating events, providing coaching and leadership to the restaurant team, responding effectively to guest requests/complaints Motivating team members to achieve assigned targets/incentive opportunities Daily maintenance of restaurant expenditures and inventory Oversee and assist with meeting and function setups and takedowns Successful execution of events and functions New team member onboarding to ensure alignment with Standards of Service for all food and beverage experiences You will contribute to the overall teams Wine Club sales targets You will help drive sales through guest transaction (including up-selling) You will ensure a Safe and Healthy Work Environment The Qualifications 1 year of Restaurant Supervisory experience Smart Serve Certification Ability to recognize when guests and team members would benefit from support and assistance; contributing to others' initiatives without having to be asked Experience working with POS, reservation system, restaurant systems and handling cash Strong communication skills; high attention to detail Apply online today.
