Hospitality Engagement Director – Bilingual – English - French
Summary
Aramark is recruiting a Bilingual Hospitality Engagement Manager for our large-scale culinary operations in Ottawa. Reporting to the District Manager, the Hospitality Engagement Manager partners with Operations, Operational Excellence and Human Resources to develop innovative programs that drive engagement and delivers on Aramark’s hospitality culture with guests, employees, and the Client.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for our hospitality Service Excellence program, Aramark’s framework for outstanding guest and employee experience
Ensures employees are enabled to provide the best possible guest experience through the development and delivery of Aramark’s Service Excellence and hospitality focused onboarding and training programs.
Develops and delivers guest and client feedback mechanisms, including scorecards, to ensure service standards are not only met but exceeded.
Acts as Aramark’s on- site cheerleader for hospitality focused service excellence.
Frequently attends employee pre-shift meetings promoting Service Excellence and hospitality culture initiatives that build engagement and morale
Works with the management team to plan, facilitate, and implement frequent guest and client engagement activities. Creates and establishes best practices within the account
Develops and leads guest and employee Hospitality Committees. Responsible for bringing forward feedback and ideas to the senior management team. Assists with implementing initiatives to further engagement and satisfaction
Conducts questionnaires with recently hired employees to solicit feedback and identify any opportunities for continuous improvement
Responsible for overseeing our Employee Recognition program utilization
Assists with the planning and carrying out engagement events on an ongoing basis inclusive of annual restart activities and annual employee appreciation celebration
Ensures all materials to guests, employees and client are hospitality focused.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Hospitality, Marketing or Business is preferred
Bilingualism in French and English both written and verbal is a must
A minimum of 2 year’s experience developing engagement programs
Experience in Food Service Operations is an asset
Highly motivated self-starter
Strong leadership skills
Passionate about engaging employees and guests
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Professionalism and diplomacy with all levels of the organization
Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel
