High Pressure Welder Job In Kirkland Lake

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Pressure Welder for one of our clients in Earlton, On near (Kirkland Lake). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex welding tasks on high-pressure piping systems and other critical components. This role requires precision, safety awareness, and a deep understanding of welding techniques and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks on high-pressure systems, including pipes, tanks, and structural components.
• Use various welding techniques such as GTAW (TIG), SMAW (Stick), and GMAW (MIG) to meet project specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
• Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and industry regulations for high-pressure welding.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair defects in welds as needed.

Qualifications:

• Certification in high-pressure welding (CWB, TSSA, or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in high-pressure welding, preferably in industrial or commercial projects.
• Proficient in various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, and Stick welding.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
• Ability to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and elevated positions.
