Position Overview:
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing comprehensive health and safety programs to ensure the well-being of our employees, subcontractors, and the public. You will collaborate closely with project teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards, promote a culture of safety, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the safety performance of our organization and contribute to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction industry. NCSO and/or COR/ISO Internal Auditor certification strongly preferred. In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and industry standards. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety programs and initiatives. Experience conducting site inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
