Working closely with an outsourced tech firm handling the tech stack and hardware support, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our IT environment to support our growing business needs.HOW WILL I MAKE AN IMPACT?IT Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with the company's objectives, leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Systems Administration: Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, cloud services, CRM and customer-facing technology, software applications, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. User Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal IT support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing timely resolution to minimize downtime. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external tech partners and vendors, including the outsourced tech firm, to coordinate IT projects, procurement, and service delivery, ensuring SLAs are met. Cybersecurity and Data Protection: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption, to safeguard sensitive information and mitigate security risks. IT Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA. Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve business processes, leading the implementation of new systems as needed. Training and Documentation: Provide training and technical documentation to educate employees on IT best practices, security protocols, and use of company systems and software. Hardware and Asset Management: Oversee hardware procurement, inventory management, and asset tracking, optimizing resource allocation and lifecycle management. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain a comprehensive disaster recovery plan and backup strategy, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations in the event of a system failure or data breach. WHAT IS D2L LOOKING FOR FROM ME?Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills across a range of IT disciplines, including network administration, systems integration, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and develop innovative solutions to optimize system performance. Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into layman's terms and effectively interact with non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with external vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve shared objectives and deliver high-quality IT services. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to evolving technology trends and business requirements, adjusting IT strategies and priorities accordingly. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation. Suggested Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred). 5+ years of experience in IT roles, with proven expertise in systems administration, network management, and cybersecurity. 3+ years experience with a modern CRM and related integrations to secondary systems. Experience managing IT operations in a small to mid-sized company, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA are desirable. Strong project management skills and experience leading IT projects from conception to implementation. Experience in B2B2C fields a plus. Pro-active, positive, can-do disposition, with evidence of the ability to support growing teams with integrity and flexibility.
