Job Description

About us

Eli is a women's health company on a mission to improve lifelong health by continuously monitoring hormones in saliva. Hormones impact overall health every day and at all stages of life. Yet, traditional testing methods and send-out tests only provide infrequent snapshots. In three simple steps, Eli's at-home technology continuously provides personalized hormone profiles to transform how women manage their hormonal health in key areas like menopause, fertility, contraception, and endocrine conditions.

This scientific and engineering breakthrough, resulting from years of R&D, enables Eli to fill a major data gap and provide people with the information they need to optimize their overall health from puberty through menopause and beyond.

About the Role:

As our first growth hire, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our user acquisition strategy, enhancing our digital presence, and driving engagement across all digital platforms. Your data acumen, creativity, strategic insight, and hands-on approach will be instrumental in advancing our marketing objectives and contributing to our overall success.

This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, develop, and implement growth strategies across paid and organic channels to attract and retain users.

  • Design and execute experiments to test new user acquisition channels, including digital marketing, content, partnerships, and events.

  • Improve conversion rates from website to paid user, from website to subscriber, and from subscriber to paid user.

  • Analyze data to track user acquisition and engagement, using insights to optimize campaigns.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to improve user onboarding and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing within a startup, preferably health tech.

  • A proven track record of success in user acquisition: paid search, paid social, SEO, A/B testing, and email marketing.

  • Hands-on experience managing a $1M+ annual marketing budget.

  • Familiarity with website management tools and best practices.

  • Creative skills in photography and videography are highly desirable.

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications or a related field is preferred.

What We Offer:

  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment where creativity and innovation are valued.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.

Why you’ll love working at Eli

  • You’ll work with a group of talented and mission-driven people eager to improve women’s health at scale.

  • You’ll be part of the core team developing and commercializing the first product that collects hormonal data daily and over a lifetime.

  • You’ll join at the early-stage startup phase and have a wide-reaching impact in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment.

  • You’ll be part of a small (<20 people), high-performing, and diverse team where everything you do results in tangible impact and shapes the company’s trajectory.

  • You’ll be in an environment where people drive their own work, think creatively about open-ended problems, and solve them proactively.

  • You’ll get health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and more) to ensure you and your family stay physically and mentally at your best.

  • You’ll have flexibility over your schedule and vacations. We seek to hire great people, then give them the autonomy and space they need to achieve their goals.

  • Although our office and R&D facilities are in Montreal, we have a distributed team. We prioritize asynchronous workflows and minimize meetings to focus on the work itself.

  • You and your +1 will have unlimited free access to the Bota Bota spa in Montreal to recharge.
