Head Of Finance Job In Ottawa

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with an Ottawa, ON-based company to hire a Head of Finance! This will be a 1-year contract with the potential for an extension or to go permanent.

Benefits & Perks:

• Compensation: Upto 160K Base.
• Please note, this will be hybrid (Once a week at the Client's Downtown Office).
• This will be a 1-year contract with Benefits + Vacation Pay!

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Leading a team of 5.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in the ERP system.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, metrics, and financial measures to track and forecast business results.
• Prepare a monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts.
• Provide oversight and direction of AP invoices.
• Forecast, track, and report cash movements.
• Calculate business tax liabilities.
• Support with year-end results and annual audits.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance.
• Must have CPA Designation.
• Must have over 10 Years of Canadian finance experience.
• Must have over 5 years of experience in a managerial finance role.
• Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and ADP is an asset.
