Resource ProfileClient is looking for Business Analysts with proven experience implementing in Guidewire Products Suite Agile and experience in SCRUM set upResource ResponsibilitiesProvide expertise and support to the technical teams and business clients throughout the enterprise by conducting in-depth analysis, summary, and recommendations.Maintain effective working relationships with the business to discuss and resolve issues, understand current state and business processes, identify future needs and opportunities to fully support business data and report needs. Perform other related duties as assigned or required.Participate in daily SCRUMs, forums, product demos and working groups varying in scope and complexityWork on reports and presentation materials.Provide input/feedback for Sprints planningFill SCRUM master role if requiredLead and perform testing activities as per defined Sprints scheduleKnowledge & Skills8+ years experience in IT business analysis with a focus on insuranceHands-on experience in Guidewire Digital Portal projects: Product navigation, Product model, Policy or Claims or Billing Transactions, Integrations, OOTB functionality and integrations, Business rules, Troubleshooting incidents/issues etc.Hands-on experience in one or more products: Customer Engage, Producer Engage, GPA, AMP, Claims portal5+ years senior level communications experience including document prep, conducting workshops and presentation to executive level7+ years in an Agile environment with exposure to SCRUM, and Lean methodologiesWorking with Guidewire products, specifically, Claim Center,Policy center & Billing center Contact ManagerUnderstand Guidewire implementation methodology and processesExperience implementing Guidewire productsWorking with Agile practices and associated skills including user story writing and defining user acceptance criteriaAnalyze a broadly-defined area and using functional decomposition to define high-level epics and storiesCreate a well-organized, value-driven framework to provide the required business value in the Product Backlog.Write individual stories that are very clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team.Identify related user stories and epics, group them into themes as necessary and document the interrelationship and associated business process flowsAbility to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to nontechnical team members and clients.Proven experience with end-to-end business process mapping, business and technical requirements analysis, business planning, modeling, verification and methodology and product development.Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively build relationships and influence decisionsInfluential skills include conflict management, negotiation and facilitation skills to act as a consultant in various forms to resolve issues, diffuse conflicts and handle escalated sensitive issues from team members and to alert project sponsors of serious repercussions.Analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills, to assess client requirements and translatethese into functional and information documentation (e.g. re process/IT requirements andchanges).
