Title - Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Licensed Mechanic - 310S or 310TLocation - Vancouver, BCPay Rate - From $33.00/Hour CADPosition Summary:Support in maintaining Ground Service Equipment (GSE) in line with company policies.Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of all GSE equipment.Assist in equipment repairs under the Preventive Maintenance Program.Contribute to compiling parts lists and procuring necessary parts.Manage work orders for equipment repairs.Maintain familiarity with GSE manuals/documents relevant to the work.Uphold a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.Understand company and government manuals/documents pertaining to the work.Perform any additional tasks as assigned.Key Responsibilities:Service, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair motor vehicles/heavy equipment.Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of all GSE equipment.Implement daily GSE maintenance and overhaul programs.Conduct Equipment condition assessments, execute repairs, replacements, and adjustments.Report safety concerns to the Supervisor.Qualifications:Post-Secondary education.Valid Provincial Driver’s License.Ability to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).Proficient in MS Word & Excel.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work indoors or outdoors.Willingness to work in restricted airport areas.Ability to work rotating shifts, seven days a week.310S or 310T Automotive Service Technician License.Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. for component replacements.
