Crafting visually compelling assets that drive results and effectively communicate objectives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment Responsibilities: Design, digital and traditional ads, as well as point of sale and digital signage. Including retail and corporate information pieces that align to the appropriate target audience and brand standards. Design dynamic mobile-optimized email graphics, static, animated, and rich media display ads, optimized graphics for landing pages and other assets for digital channels. Prepare all artwork to a high standard of quality within the visual guidelines in the appropriate software and ensure all files, digital and print, are executed properly for suppliers and partners. File assets according to their prescribed naming convention and digital filing process. Responsible for proofing materials for design balance, overall look, and communication objective fulfillment. Proactively seek out information, prioritize projects, to ensure on-time completion. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, appropriate suppliers, and production partners. Acquire, maintain, and communicate knowledge of current industry standards and contribute to consistent current overall improvement within the department. Participate in the development and action of yearly competency performance work plan and development action plan. Provide leadership in the areas of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Food Safety including participate in HSE activities, ensuring employees are knowledgeable about and comply with HSE and Food Safety policies, procedures, and legislation, assist in identifying unhealthy, unsafe situations and ensure corrective action is taken. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of recognized graphic design program (degree or diploma). Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Indesign for printing and Premiere animation software. All Microsoft Office applications. Five years in the graphic design/digital industry in a retail, agency, or corporate environment. Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision in a team environment. Understanding of social media channels. Desirable Qualifications: Experience in the retail industry. Knowledge of HTML/HTML5. Experience with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) and proofing tools such as Workfront. Three years’ experience of pre-press and production for four colour process printing and digital printing.
