Job Description

We are looking for a detail-orientated designer who encompasses enthusiasm and focus to help support our Creative Manager. We are passionate about finding someone who is collaborative and can contribute to website designs, advertising campaigns, design concepts, production design, branding projects, and more. This role is ideal for a design professional who demonstrates strict attention to detail, outstanding organizational and project management skills, with experience producing web and digital marketing collateral.Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with the Creative Manager and marketing teamCreate assets for websites. Produce wireframes, mock-ups/prototypes, digital ads, digital graphics,Design advertising and marketing collateral (email marketing and digital display ads)Photo retouching and editingEmail design and productionCreate templates for social media including Instagram, Pinterest, and FacebookProduction design for both print and online (magazines, social graphics, packaging, etc).Prepping files to required print specificationsCreating and optimizing graphics for the webManage multiple assigned projects from conception to completion.Support the Creative Manager with the development of design concepts, strategies, and targeted communications.Consult with the Project Manager to determine the client briefs, objectives, budget, and deadline.Work within compliance standards including brand, intellectual property, copyright, and trademark.Qualities:Passionate about storytelling, creating engaging content, lifestyle brands, and websitesHave worked with social media platforms, eCommerce marketing, retail environments and understand customer engagementDynamic and adaptable – you thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong communicator – your interpersonal and written/listening skills help you succeedTeam player – you demonstrate flexibility and work well both independently and on a teamGreat attitude – you're upbeat and bring energy to every projectA hard worker with a passion for digital graphic designExperience:Bachelor’s degree in Design or other related area is preferred2+ years experience working on the production of digital filesMinimum 1-year professional experience in a design/creative environment.Expert skills working with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong understanding of fundamental principles of design (composition, typography, contrast, balance, alignment)Marketing and communication strategiesProficiency using digital tools and an understanding of analytical marketingAn understanding of the marketing and sales funnel, and how content contributes to lead generation and conversionUI/UX design experienceA great portfolio to demonstrate your skills and experienceAbility to meet deadlinesAn eye for detail and consistency.Must be willing and able to learn and take initiativeThe ability to work independently and self-manage your time and schedule.Must have own computer with the technical specifications to run the Adobe Suite.Additional desirable experiences include:Experience with WordPressMailChimpGoogle AdsGoogle AnalyticsCompensation:This is a part-time position of 10-20 hours per week with room to grow. Hours and days are flexible to be discussed with candidates as long as the work completed meets the deadlines.
