As a Global Leader in Human Capital Business Partnerships (HCBP), working with the CHRO and the Human Capital Leadership team, you will play an important role in shaping and driving our Human Capital strategy, strategic initiatives and talent programs. Your focus will be on partnering with our business leaders and aligning these initiatives with our company’s strategy, vision, mission, and strategic objectives while ensuring that we deliver an exceptional employee experience. You will combine your deep business acumen with a keen understanding of organizational dynamics to address people challenges and business needs effectively.

Support:

the development, alignment, and execution of HC strategies to enable Alithya’s overall goals to build a competitive organization;

and champion initiatives that drive employee engagement and business results.

Collaborate closely with your peers and business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and talent management initiatives;

Provide thought leadership on organizational and people-related matters;

Leverage your:

strong understanding of multinational operations to address cross-border HR challenges;

expertise in human capital processes and contribute to the continuous improvement and enhancement of programs, policies and tools to support the continued growth and development of employees.

Stay informed about global HR trends and best practices to adapt internal strategies and initiatives as needed;

Make decisions that prioritize the success of the business while maintaining a positive employee experience;

Establish cohesive partnerships with business leaders and the global talent attraction peers on strategic workforce planning to ensure proper staffing, cost and agility for current and future business needs;

Apply in-depth knowledge of Canadian and US employment and labour laws, regulatory aspects and specific legislation, ensuring that Alithya’s HR practices comply with legal requirements across the various geographic regions where we are present;

Work closely with the Legal team and other peers to develop and implement labour relations policies and procedures, including mobility and immigration practises.

Does this sound like you?

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field;

Acquisition and integration expertise, ideally in a multinational context;

Proven experience as a leader in HR, ideally within a multinational context;

Proven success in leading and influencing business leaders and employees;

Demonstrated experience in business operations and challenges and financial acumen;

Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations (primarily in Quebec and Ontario);

Ability to:

think strategically and translate business goals into effective Human Capital practices;

utilize available systems, programs and Human Capital technology to increase efficiency and drive business strategies forward;

leverage data analytics for informed decision-making to best support business teams;

shift priorities as business needs require;

work in a dynamic, growth-oriented collaborative teamwork environment as well as independently as an individual contributor.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Oracle systems (asset);

Bilingual (French and English);

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
