As a testament to its excellence and influence, the firm actively fosters strategic global partnerships, continuously setting benchmarks in quality and industry standards.Job Summary Urea Technologist is expected to Initiate, Propose and Execute research and development, Debottlenecking/Revamp, Energy saving, Sustainability improvement programs directed towards the improvement of processes and commercial technologies. Lead in-house new process technology development, scale up & implementations in commercial plants. Provide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as needed. Provide trouble-shooting & Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plants. The technologist is also expected to provide support in Growth ProjectsKey Responsibilities:Provide directions and lead Urea development, technology, and project selection, specifically low biuret, N+2, N+3 technologiesAware of Decarbonization solution in the industry and can link it to the technology selection exerciseProvide trouble-shooting & Root cause analysis support and drive problem resolution for commercial plantsDevelopment of Plant wide Model in Aspen Plus or like and Guide the Plant Improvements/PerformanceCarry out Energy and mass balance calculations, Energy Optimization/Pinch Studies, Pump hydraulics calculations, Heat exchanger design & calculations, Various Catalyst performances evaluation, Feasibility study & Revamp studyIndependently Review Engineering Documents & Steer technology selection and technology improvementsProvide technology support to commercial plants for the shutdown, turnover, and re-commissioning as neededProvide insights, directions, and support to products development within the groupActively contribute to safety culture, coaching young employees, and initiate new programsRequirements:This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Masters or PhD is preferredExperience of 15 years of directly working, supporting, and implementing various process improvement, energy improvement solutions in Urea assets built with various technology providersStrategic thinking and planningLeadership skills to work and influence highly talented people with diversified disciplines and culturesAbility to create, foster, and drive culture for innovationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHighly self-motivatedApplicants must be currently authorized to work for This Company in the United States on a full-time basis
