ENERCON is currently seeking a qualified General Project Manager (GPM) for its project installation team. Under the direct supervision of the Project Execution Director, the GPM will oversee the entire lifecycle of wind projects, from planning to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to ENERCON's high standards of quality and safety. They will be coordinating all aspects of project realization, leading the project team, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders, resolving issues, supervising subcontractors, providing progress reports, and establishing health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of project realization, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality.
  • Lead and motivate the project team to achieve set objectives.
  • Coordinate and inform all stakeholders involved in the project, including suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and project team members.
  • Ensure clear communication with leaders and clients to define project expectations.
  • Prepare projects for success and react quickly to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Supervise the work of subcontractors or consultants to ensure quality and compliance with specifications and budgets.
  • Provide regular progress reports on project advancement.
  • Collaborate with headquarters in Germany.
  • Establish health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering, electrical, mechanical, civil, or related field.
  • Member of the OIQ (an asset).
  • 3 to 6 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in the wind industry, renewable energy, construction, or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, oral and written.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead management meetings and make presentations.
  • Entrepreneurial, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong leadership and team mobilization skills.
  • Rigour and strong work ethic.
  • Available to travel (10% of the time) across Canada and occasionally to ENERCON's headquarters in Germany.
  • Proficiency in tools and software: MS Office, MS Project, and SAP.
  • PMP certification (an asset).
  • ASP construction card (an asset).
  • Valid driver's licence.
