Job Description

This position involves managing hotel operations, financial performance, and guest satisfaction. The role includes directing department managers, maintaining high service standards, increasing sales, and controlling costs. The individual must be committed to high customer service standards, revenue-generating, and finding innovative ways to control costs.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall hotel management, revenue management, guest service standards, sales and marketing programs, and adherence to all corporate policies.
  • Lead, guide, and direct all operating departments and departmental management for each operating outlet, ensuring ultimately responsible for all aspects of the property including all operating outlets and the entire property.
  • Implement plans, projections, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Plan, organize, direct, audit, and control operations in accordance with the policies, goals, and objectives of the corporation.
  • Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff, provide support and analysis of operational requirements.
  • Responsible for health and safety of guests and staff through training, communication, daily and monthly inspections, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of the property.
  • Ensure adherence to all government regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with Executive and Vice Presidents to support the company’s mission and develop plans of action.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • CHA or Similar designation.
  • Post-secondary designation in Hospitality management or a related discipline.
  • 4 years of hospitality experience as a senior Manager and/or previous GM experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and skills.
  • Strong budgetary, projections and cost control skills.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
  • Proven ability to lead a complex integrated business operation that has diverse profit centers.
