Job Description

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our business. The General Manager will be responsible for managing the budget and financial performance of the dealership, developing and implementing strategies for growth and success, and leading and motivating a team of employees. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs.

This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office. You’ll mostly work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with irregular or extended hours as projects demand.

THE DAY TO DAY

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the dealership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Manage and optimize dealership operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING

  • Previous experience in a senior management role within the furniture industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sound financial acumen and business management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).
