Ondel Inc. is currently seeking a Managing Director to assist the President. As Managing Director, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the company ensuring sustainable growth, profitability and customer satisfaction. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with the group's various departments to achieve the company's objectives. Our head office is located in Quebec and you will be required to travel on a weekly basis to our Laval office and to our construction sites. Join our experienced team now!What will your work day look like?- Define and implement the company's vision, mission and strategic objectives;- Lead and support the estimation, industrial and Greater Montreal departments;- Make informed decisions to ensure long-term growth and competitiveness in the market;- Develop and manage the company's budget, ensuring profitability and financial sustainability;- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve economic performance;- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships;- Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment;- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations in force in the electrical sector;- Implement crisis management and business continuity measures.Carry out all other related tasks linked to the smooth running of the company's activities.YOU HAVE:- BAC in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent experience;- 5 to 10 years of experience in a management role in the field of industrial or institutional electricity;- An excellent understanding of the electricity sector and market trends;- In-depth knowledge of electrical industry regulations and standards;- Mastery of the Office suite, mainly Outlook and Excel;- Knowledge of MS Project (an asset);- Good command of written and spoken French;- Good command of written and spoken English (an asset).YOU ARE:- A good communicator;- Team manager;- A leader in problem solving;- An excellent negotiator;- Competent in strategic, operational and financial management;- Effective in a dynamic and multi-faceted environment.WE OFFER:- Pleasant, humane working environment offering work-family balance;- Varied and stimulating challenges;- Range of social benefits (training center membership, group insurance, group RRSP, social club, etc.);- Competitive salary depending on your experience;- Allowance for travel expenses; Opportunity to carry out projects across the province.The use of the masculine gender is only used to lighten the text.
