Overview

We are seeking an experienced automotive enthusiast to become the next General Manager of Warehouse 8 to oversee the operations of our automotive shop. The General Manager will be responsible for building, developing, and leading a team of technicians and administrative staff, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and driving business growth and profitability. Warehouse 8 is part of the PT Enterprises group of companies and the successful candidate will be a member of the PT leadership team. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a dynamic group of leaders from different industries collaborating on business initiatives and strategies


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

·        Develop and implement strategies to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the automotive shop operations.

·        Oversee day-to-day activities, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.

·        Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

·        Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Team Management:

·        Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a high-performing team.

·        Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to employees to promote professional development and job satisfaction.

·        Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and accountability.

Customer Service Excellence:

·        Maintain a customer-centric approach by ensuring that all customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints are addressed promptly and satisfactorily.

·        Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and build long-term relationships with clients.

·        Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to continuously improve service quality.


Financial Management:

·        Develop and manage the annual budget, including revenue forecasts and expense projections.

·        Monitor financial performance against budget and take corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.

·        Steer the business towards it’s five-year objectives.


Sales and Marketing:

·        Collaborate with the team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

·        Actively promote the shop's services and offerings to generate sales opportunities.

·        Build partnerships and relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders to support business objectives.


Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).

·        Proven experience in a managerial role within the automotive industry, with a strong track record of leadership and operational excellence.

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.

·        Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and manage expenses.

·        Proficiency in using automotive shop management software and other relevant tools.

·        Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

·        Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.


Additional Requirements:

·        Valid driver's license.

·        Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

·        Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required in an automotive shop environment.
