Fort Equipment is a full-service Kubota agricultural and construction equipment dealership that has served northern Nova Scotia and Southern New Brunswick for over 40 years and two generations.

Reporting to the owner, the General Manager is responsible for:
- Communicating the company objectives to department managers and staff.
- Working with department managers to ensure objectives are met, including sales and market share growth.
- Working with the owner and controller to establish and achieve financial performance.
- Working with the owner and department managers to improve processes and increase employee and customer satisfaction.
- Managing relationships with suppliers.
- Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with customers and resolves elevated customer issues.
- Communicating the company culture to employees, customers and the community.
- Overseeing the maintenance, security and appearance of the facility and property.
- Hiring, developing and evaluating the management team and other employees.
- Performing other duties assigned.
The General Manager will also be responsible for working with the Branch Manager at our second location, Eastern Powersports, to achieve the items listed above.
Requirements
- Experience in a management role
- Proven record in meeting sales or other goals
