We are searching for an experienced General Manager for our London, Ontario location. As a key member of the management team you are ready to dive in, roll up your sleeves, and ensure our company provides an unforgettable guest experience while delivering top-tier financial performance. As the heartbeat of our strategic team you excel at creating a strong tight-knit team with the ability to provide next-level hospitality including customer experiences, hospitality, sales (both consumer and licensee), facility operations, HR and production. You will collaborate with our executive team (marketing, finance, production) to keep things fresh and exciting. Our ideal candidate is full of energy, always enthusiastic, and an expert in positivity who will inspire both individuals/groups, set the bar high with stellar examples, and coach like a pro. RKEY RESPONSIBILITIES: A mastermind behind all operations, serving as the main go-to for all department heads Inspire the team to crush it, surpassing goals for guest happiness and financial success Manage budget, forecasts, KPI’s, and labor, craft strategies for productivity, operations, and financial performance that are innovative and execute effectively Collaborate closely with the executive team while providing guidance to the Retail, Sales, and Production managers Brainstorm with Executive Team on budgets and forecasts, always hunting for ways to level up financially Mentor and measure the vibes of management staff, always looking for ways to boost efficiency, build quality relationships, policies, and procedures Get hands-on with the Operations Manager and the team to ensure we are top-quality and have exceptional yields Collaborate with Brand Ambassador to keep licensee sales booming - drive licensee sales Partner with the Retail Sales & Hospitality Coordinator to orchestrate exceptional guest experiences, ensuring high-quality service and outstanding merchandising Cook up brilliance with the Executive Chef, setting goals and ensuring the Bistro's vibe, menu, and flavors hit all the modern notes Craft our annual marketing masterpiece, from big-picture strategy to e-blasts, social media, and killer content Build solid connections with customers, licensees, and stakeholders, keeping the energy positive and the relationships strong, mix and mingle at industry events, keeping the good vibes flowing and the connections strong HR wizard, sharing wisdom, driving recruitment, and ensuring our team's morale hits high levels Work with our IT partner to keep systems and programs working and up to date Comply with health and legal regulations to promote a safe workplace for all QUALIFICATIONS: ~ University Degree in Business Management, Hospitality or relevant experience ~5-7 years’ management experience in hospitality, retail or business management ~3+ years of hands on operations management experience in dynamic environments like food & beverage, hospitality, wineries, attractions, retail, or accommodations are an asset ~ Master of Word, Excel, the internet, and email ~ Expert in sales training tools and techniques, especially for food and beverages ~ Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws ~ Intellectual, creative, and great at verbal and written communication ~ Skilled at teaching leaders soft skills like selling and relationship building ~ Thrives changing environments, handling competing demands/unexpected events with ease ~ Highly self-motivated, takes action and gets things done with a sense of urgency ~ Strong scheduling, planning, time management, with an eye on resources and deadlines ~ Fosters high morale and commitment, tackles negativity, and balances task completion with good relationships ~ Solves problems with sound judgment, maintains objectivity, and handles emotional topics with reason to resolve issues in line with standards, policies, and laws
