GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER

What you will do

  • Develop software in C++ by applying object-oriented development principles;
  • Participate in the architecture of gameplay code following the game design intentions;
  • Work with programming teams and other departments to design and implement gameplay systems;
  • Write, optimize, document and debug code to ensure performance and technical quality;
  • Analyze and estimate the timing, as well as the impact of the proposed functions;
  • Plan work and provide realistic updates on progress;
  • Contribute positively to the achievement of project and team objectives.

What you bring

  • University degree in Programming, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field;
  • 3+ years experience in the video game industry as a Gameplay Programmer;
  • Experience with the UE5 engine;
  • Excellent knowledge of C++ ;
  • Versatility and varied experience on different gameplay systems;
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented design.

  • Experience in profiling and optimization an asset;
  • Participated in the release of a game, an asset
  • Team player;
