Bedford Orthodontics has an exciting Full-time permanent position available (with opportunity to lead into full time), looking for a talented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Bedford, Nova Scotia team. Ensures that patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral health. Desire to help, educate and improve our patients’ lives. Collect patient’s dental and relevant medical history, to reference during examinations. Clean patient’s teeth to remove plague, polish, floss and brush. Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies and equipment. 2+ years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not required. ~ Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program. ~ Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within province, in good standing. ~ Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required. ~ Current CPR and First Aid training.
