Summary: Northern Vision Care in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek is currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our experienced team. This presents an incredible opportunity to become part of a well-established practice situated in the stunning landscape of British Columbia. We offer a flexible schedule and the chance for the incoming OD to inherit a substantial patient base. With two doctors currently practicing as part of our team, our ODs receive excellent support from our pretesting and dispensing team. Our clinic features four fully equipped exam lanes, with the OD having their own dedicated practice lane. Additionally, there is potential for the OD to manage two lanes simultaneously due to patient demand in the area. On most days, you'll collaborate with another doctor, with our ODs typically seeing 15-20 patients daily. At this patient load, the incoming OD can expect compensation of more than $200,000 annually and a lot of opportunity to earn significantly more. Presently, our clinic in Fort St. John operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. In Dawson Creek, an OD is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, requiring the incoming OD to travel to Dawson Creek one day per week. This arrangement offers great flexibility in choosing where to reside if you're considering relocating to the area, with Dawson Creek and Fort St. John situated 75 km apart. We are pleased to offer several incentives for the incoming OD, including: Relocation Support, Compensation Guarantee ($200,000 minimum), and Forgivable Loan of $100,000.
