CWP Energy is an energy trading company based in Montreal. The desk is opening a position for an experienced Financial Transmission Right (FTR) trader to further our expertise in congestion products on ERCOT, MISO and SPP. This role is a great opportunity to create value in an organization that has limited red tape. The desired candidate must have previous trading experience with FTRs and a strong performance track record. This role is a remote position for candidates in North America.
Job requirements:
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical capabilities.
- You can work under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment.
- You have 3-5 years of experience trading FTR in North American Power Markets.
- You have a strong knowledge of ERCOT, MISO and SPP and have proven track record.
- You have strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
- You speak and write in English fluently.
- You have the ability and desire to travel to Montreal for training and knowledge sharing purposes.
