Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Freight forwarding manager for ouroffice.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree and work experience of 3 years to 5 years is required.
Salary: $50.00 hourly / 40 hours per week.
Terms of employment: Permanent Full time employment.
Duties:
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff
- Train staff
- Manage finances or budget
- Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit
- Ensure transport compliance with regulations
- Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods
- Negotiate for services and preferential rates
- Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
