The Dock on Princess is hiring a Front of House Manager/Service Team Member. This position can be full time or part time based on the candidate?s needs. This person will work a mix of managing, serving and bartending shifts. Evening and Weekend availability is a must. Some day availability is an asset. We are closed on Sundays.
The Dock on Princess provides a fast paced, team environment with many opportunities to develop new skills and individually contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem solving and people skills. We are a locally owned, independent restaurant. We run a variety of promotions and events throughout the year and create our own policies and procedures. The management team is integral to creating and implementing these. We are very team focused, so we?re looking for someone who is hands on and isn?t afraid to jump in and help where needed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for running the floor and meeting our labour goals while managing. They will be responsible for supporting our team and maintaining our service standards and the guest experience while on shift. They will help with the training and coaching of new and existing staff and will help maintain our positive working environment.
Restaurant and management experience are both an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Wage is based on experience.
